Accredited Beauty School in Lancaster, CA

Lancaster Beauty School is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences, known as NACCAS, an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education for the accreditation of cosmetology schools. Accreditation is an independent review of how a school teaches, assesses and supports its students.

That status is what allows the school to participate in Title IV financial aid programs, so qualified students can receive federal assistance toward tuition and other costs. A school without accreditation cannot offer those programs at all.

The school is separately licensed by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education for the State of California as a training institution qualifying graduates for state licenses as a cosmetologist, cosmetology instructor, manicurist or esthetician.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why does accreditation matter when choosing a school?

Accreditation means a school has been reviewed against external standards covering instruction, facilities and student outcomes. It can also affect which funding options a student is able to use.

Do the programs prepare students for California licensing?

Yes. Each program is built around the clock hours the California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology requires, so the hours you complete count toward your license application.
